Take transit free to the AIDS Walk on May 18
Pre-register or volunteer for the 2008 Minnesota AIDS Walk on Sunday, May 18, and you can give your soles a break. Metro Transit will take you there free!
Hop on a bus from your neighborhood or park for free at nearby Park & Ride lots and take the light-rail train to Minnehaha Park. Free parking is available at Lake Street/Midtown, Fort Snelling or 28th Avenue stations.
Register for the walk in advance and your round-trip ride is free. The Minnesota AIDS Project provides free-ride coupons – good on buses and trains – to all pre-registered walkers and volunteers. You’ll receive coupons with your Walker Information Packet or your Team Leader Kit.
