Flexible savings for employers of any size
The
region's most popular transit discount program, TransitWorks! allows employees
at participating companies an automatic five to 10 percent discount off
the retail price of transit fares. Your company representative simply
orders the quantity of SuperSavers you need for employees each month.
An invoice is included along with the passes, and the employer has 30
days to pay. More than 500 companies throughout the Twin Cities offer
this program to their workers.
Here is how it works:
- You complete a TransitWorks! agreement and credit application, and mail them to Metro Transit. Upon credit approval, you'll receive an order form and further instructions by mail.
- Take a look at the substantial savings:
31-Day Passes
These passes are valid for unlimited rides on any Metro Transit bus or train for 31 consecutive days after its first use. 31-Day Passes are offered to the public at a 10 to 20 percent discount. TransitWorks! participants receive an added 5 to 10 percent discount.

** Mobility 31-Day Passes allow persons with disabilities to ride at any
time of the day for only 50 cents. Proper identification must be used
when purchasing or using a Mobility pass.
Stored Value Cards
These cards can be used on the bus at any time; they never expire. Please note: Stored Value Cards are not valid for train rides.* They are sold for $10, $20 or $40, and each card contains a cash value 10 percent greater than its retail price. TransitWorks! members receive a 5 percent discount off the retail price.

* If your trip begins on a bus and you'll transfer to a train, use your Stored Value Card to pay your bus fare and ask the driver for a rail-only transfer, which is valid for 12 hours. Keep it to use for your return trip on the train, then pay your bus fare using your Stored Value Card.
