The Northstar Line (Route 888) offers service between Big Lake and downtown Minneapolis, stopping at stations in Elk River, Anoka, Coon Rapids and Fridley.

It connects with Northstar Link bus service for service to and from St. Cloud, with Fabulous Friday midday trips.
