How long have you been riding the bus or train?
I grew up with Metro Transit. I’ve been riding Metro Transit for a long time with my parents. We’d go grocery shopping and take the train. And, I’ve been riding by myself since middle school. I was used to taking transit, so when my high school asked us to take transit to school, it wasn’t that big of a jump for me. I’ve been asked a lot of questions from other kids who may not be as familiar with it.

Favorite route(s)?
Routes 61 and 64. The 61 takes me home and the 64 gets me to the Maplewood Mall.

Why do you ride transit?
I take it to school and to get around town with my brother and friends. It also gets me to friends’ houses. Transit is easy, I mean it's very versatile. I can take it everywhere and it was quick to go and if you don't know how to drive, taking the buses gives you a lot of freedom to get up and get out.

What you wish “first-timers” knew?
Once you get the hang of taking the buses, it's good it helps you a lot and it’s very useful.

Favorite destination?
Maplewood Mall to go anime game card shopping or the library to play video games.

What does Metro Transit get right?
It’s very versatile. It’s really helpful too because you can go everywhere.

What can we improve?
Nothing. Doing a good job.

Favorite onboard memory?
Being on board with friends and going somewhere to do something fun. I remember in middle school; we took the train to the library to play our favorite video game on the computers. Since we don’t have computers at home, we’d do this often. It was awesome.

Favorite movie about transit?
Snakes on a Plane. It’s a funny movie.
