We're looking for enthusiastic people for fulfilling careers at Metro Transit as public facilities workers, maintenance workers, building technicians, and janitors. Depending on your role, you will help power wash our stops and stations and vehicle facilities; repair, replace, and monitor crucial lighting, safety and HVAC equipment; and remove debris and snow from critical locations, ensuring our world-class transit system keeps moving! Starting pay begins between $21+/hr. and $37+/hr. (depending on position) with benefits and a $4,000 hiring bonus (depending on position).

 

Facilities Maintenance positions

Building Maintenance Technician

Helps maintain 1.7 million square feet of office and industrial space in 10 primary locations. Maintains and repairs – ranging from rebuilding, fabricating, and operating heavy equipment for landscape and snow removal to operating sophisticated automated HVAC systems. Must have Minnesota 1st Class C boiler's license to apply.

Starting pay begins at $37.80/hr. and a $4,000 hiring bonus. Apply now!
