Reduced Service on Friday, July 5

Schedule for Independence Day service

Metro Transit buses and METRO Blue and Green lines will follow Sunday/Holiday schedules on Independence Day (Thursday, July 4). The METRO Orange Line and METRO Red Line will follow Sunday/Holiday schedules that day. Northstar will only provide special service for the Minnesota Twins game on July 4. Regular Northstar and Northstar Link (887) service will not operate. The Transit Information Center, Metro Transit Service Centers, Customer Relations and Lost & Found are closed on Independence Day.

Reduced service on the day after Independence Day – Friday, July 5

Due to decreased demand on the day after Independence Day, Metro Transit and regional transit providers will reduce service on Friday, July 5. Weekend fares will be charged (except where noted). Northstar and Northstar Link will follow a regular weekday schedule on Friday, July 5.

The Transit Information Center will be open 6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. on July 5. The Minneapolis and St. Paul Service Centers will be closed. Customer Relations and Lost & Found will be open 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Routes will follow SATURDAY schedules unless noted here. If your route is not currently operating or does not have a schedule for Saturday service and is not listed here, it will not operate on Friday, July 5.

trips to Marquette & 11th St., leaving 95th Ave. Park & Ride at 6:20, 6:43 and 7:43 a.m. (via Co. Rd. H Park & Ride), & 4:02 p.m. via Wells Fargo and Medtronic.

trips to Marquette & 11th St., leaving Maplewood Mall Transit Center at 6:06, 6:45 and 7:15 a.m.
trips to Maplewood Mall Transit Center, leaving 2nd Ave. & 11th St. at 3:17, 4:16 and 4:46 p.m.

These trips will operate:

trips to 6th St. & 7th St., leaving Woodbury Theatre Park & Ride at 6:27 and 7:26 a.m.
trips to Woodbury Theatre Park & Ride, leaving 5th St. and 7th St. at 3:38 and 4:32 p.m.

Minnesota Valley Transit Authority
MVTA will operate WEEKEND schedules on Independence Day (July 4). Routes 4FUN, 442, 444, 445, 446, 447, 495, 497, and 499 will follow WEEKEND schedules, and routes 460, 477, 480, and 490 will operate special trips only Friday, July 5 (weekend fares will apply).

ROUTE 460
No regular Saturday service. These trips will operate:

• trips to Gateway Ramp leaving Burnsville Transit Station at 6:29, 7:15, 8:08 and 8:56 a.m.

• trips to Burnsville Transit Station leaving Gateway Ramp at 2:26, 3:36, 4:30 and 5:10 p.m.

ROUTE 477
No regular Saturday service. These trips will operate:

• trip to Washington & 2nd Ave. S. leaving Lakeville Cedar Park & Ride at 7:12 a.m.

• trips to Washington & 2nd Ave. S. leaving Apple Valley Station at 6:00 and 8:26 a.m.

• trips to Lakeville Cedar Park & Ride leaving Gateway Ramp at 2:18 and 4:46 p.m.

• trips to Apple Valley Station leaving Gateway Ramp at 1:29, 3:40 and 4:06 p.m.

ROUTE 480
No regular Saturday service. These trips will operate:

• trips to Union Depot, leaving Apple Valley Transit Station at 6:35 and 7:20 a.m.

• trips to Union Depot, leaving Burnsville Transit Station at 5:54 and 7:35 a.m.

• trip to Burnsville Transit Station, leaving Union Depot at 4:15 and 5 p.m.

• trips to Apple Valley Transit Station, leaving Union Depot at 3:45 and 4:39 p.m.

ROUTE 490
No regular Saturday service. These trips will operate:

• trips to Gateway Ramp, leaving Co. Rd. 21 & Main Ave. at 6:37 and 7:38 a.m.

• trips to Co. Rd. 21 & Main Ave., leaving Gateway Ramp at 3:11, 4:26 and 5:20 p.m.

Plymouth Metrolink
Plymouth Metrolink will not operate on Independence Day (July 4). Weekday service will operate on Friday, July 5.

Maple Grove Transit
Maple Grove Transit will not operate on Independence Day (July 4). These trips will operate on Friday, July 5, and weekday fares will apply.

No regular Saturday service.
These trips will operate:

trips to Marquette/10th St., leaving Maple Grove Transit Station at 5:24, 5:54, 6:22, 6:52, 7:21, 7:56 and 11:26 a.m.
trips to Maple Grove Transit Station leaving 2nd Ave./10th St. at 12:16, 2:16, 3:39, 4:15, 4:40, 5:10 and 6:06 p.m.

Northstar Link
No service on Independence Day (July 4). WEEKDAY service on Friday, July 5.

SouthWest Transit
